Leopard Agate
Legend - Agate belongs to the Quartz family of minerals which can occur in a wide range of colour and patterns. There are many different trade names for Agate beads - usually referencing origin or appearance. Leopard Agate is named for its striking appearance.
Properties - Known as a stone of protection. Since biblical times, agates have been worn and used in jewelry to protect against imminent storms. They were highly valued as talismans and amulet throughout ancient times.
Description - These Leopard Agate beads are a striking blend of cream, brown and black - mostly in a "blotch" type pattern. Sold as temporary strung 37cm (approx) strands
