Sunstone Beads

Legend Also known as Heliolite and Feldspar.  The Vikings considered the gemstone to be a talisman for navigation, and sunstones have been discovered in Viking burial mounds.   Sunstone is a feldspar crystal formed in molten lava.  It owes its attractive colour to the iron oxide it contains.

Properties Sunstone is believed to bring luck and romance to the wearer.  It is said to be a joyful stone instilling a sense of good nature.

Description These Sunstone beads are opaque peachy brown. Sold as temporary strung 38-40cm (approx) strands.
