Tourmaline
Legend - Tourmaline - from the Singhalese "turamali" a term originally applied to gems of mixed colours by the jewellers of Ceylon. An ancient Egyptian legend believes that the beautiful array of colors in this gemstone was due to the tourmaline travelling along a rainbow on its journey from the middle of the earth up toward the sun. On its way it collected all the colors of the rainbow and came to be known as "the rainbow gemstone."
Properties - Multicoloured Tourmaline contains all the colours and, as a result, it is believed to bring the mind, body and spirit together.
Description - These Tourmaline beads are mixed colours, sold as 39cm temporary strands.
